Ashliegh has worked in a variety of different areas advocating for families in the multitude of ways a families invite children into their homes. She has worked in adoption as an advocate for couples wanting to adopt, as an individual mental health therapist for individuals and families, and as a hospital social worker. In her role as a hospital crisis social worker she helped women and families through crisis, specializing in the units providing services to women experiencing hospitalized bedrest, labor and delivery, post-delivery, NICU, pediatrics, and emergency room care.  She has spent the past few years helping families in times of medical and/or mental traumatic crisis.

Ashliegh focuses on being a companion for the therapeutic experience to the individual and families through some of life’s most challenging eras such in relation to fertility, loss, pregnancy, and postpartum. Her theoretical background focuses on the belief that at the times we need the most help it is the hardest to find a safe place to heal. She works to help clients remember and learn the strengths that are inside of us all that help us rebuild into our new best self.
